Crane Beam System
All PEB buildings can be designed to support various crane systems. Typically, EOT overhead traveling cranes up to 15MT can be mounted on brackets, while heavier capacities require an independent support system.
Standard supply includes all fixing components, cleats, and fasteners, with a shot blast finish to SA 2.5 and a shop primer of 80 microns. Static calculations and erection drawings are provided.
Advantages include perfect integration with SCI buildings, single-source supply for crane beams and buildings, optimized bay spacing and crane beam span, and an integrated design of crane rail beams within the building.
Additional benefits are heavy-duty and laminated rails for easy replacement, continuous welding of crane rail to crane beam, and end stops excluding rubber buffers. Standard technical specifications include a crane capacity of 15 tons, a crane span of 25m, and beam spans ranging from 6 to 9 bay spacing, with an 8m limit for crane capacities above 12.5 tons. One crane per beam is typical, or multiple cranes with spacers to maintain beam integrity. Available crane types include single girder and double girder.
